He made Thriller, man. Thriller.

Michael Jackson died today after suffering from cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon.

He was 50.

What a sad, sad, sad week for Hollywood. Death in 3s: Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and now the great Gloved One.

Post-script: Though there will be more later, I had to mention this ... Off the Wall > Thriller.

A profoundly sad day. I've been listening to Off The Wall since I heard. We made him, and now we've destroyed him.

Spooky isn't it? Kinda put a damper on the evening believe it or not. Everyone seems so somber.

It's really sort of surreal. And I had planned to blog about this some more later but, you know, I had never really imagined Michael Jackson living long enough to become an old man.

In fact, spooky, but I've always told my moms that there were two people I never expected to make it past 50: Michael Jackson and Mike Tyson.

I hope I'm not right again.

Also, if I had told you that Magic Johnson would outlive Michael Jackson around the time of the "Remember the Time" video, would you have believed me?

And on that note - blackink please don't go making any predictions about the BougieApplebum okay? lol.

@ Jack T. - I agree. I said the exact same thing when I heard the news, the world drove this man to an early demise.

The world will not be the same with Michael Jackson...

We will mourn him for a long, long time...
