he had a big role on parks and rec, the new series with amy pohler. he was also on flight of the conchords...he's not really an unknown; surprised people think he is.
Yeah. I first starting digging Aziz's stuff on MTV's "Human Giant," which was hilarious but lasted about 12 shows.
A word of warning about "Funny People": if you're not a fan of Judd Apatow or Seth Rogen, you're probably not going to like this movie. But if you are, you're in luck. They even coax a good performance out of Adam Sandler, who I generally haven't liked since he was playing Lou on the The Cosby Show.
