The response would be negative for known reasons. I'm not certain it won't be negative regarding SP though. She has an uphill battle. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest McCain knowingly threw in the flag.

He doesn't want to stand in the way of history.

Ha, you really think he's giving up two months out before the election?

Man, I don't think the conservatives would stand for that. Can you imagine them just rolling over?

I must say, though, that makes more sense than the Palin pick.
